Become a teacher in Oregon
The TeachOregon PAC (Prepare, Achieve, Collaborate) is funded through HB 3233, and is one of five statewide project teams. The PAC includes Newberg, Sherwood, Tillamook, and Woodburn school districts, Chemeketa and Tillamook Bay Community Colleges, and George Fox and Pacific Universities. The partnership was established in 2012 and will be grant funded for two to three years. The work; however, will continue to evolve and deepen as an integrated element of our unique partnership and teacher preparation system.
The TeachOregon PAC (Prepare, Achieve, Collaborate) is a partnership between school districts, universities and community colleges dedicated to making radical changes in teacher preparation programs and creating a natural pathway to the teaching profession.
We believe that the work of the TeachOregon PAC partnership will result in a cycle of quality teaching, learning and student achievement.
The TeachOregon PAC is committed to recruiting, preparing and mentoring teachers as they gain the skills necessary to successfully teach and support students in Oregon’s increasingly diverse classrooms.
