Pacific University’s Woodburn Campus began in 2010 as a community-based site for teacher preparation, offering licensure programs in STEM teaching, early childhood and elementary teaching, and English Language Learning (ESOL). The Pacific Woodburn Campus is a regional hub for research on STEM education and English language learning.
Pacific University’s historic main campus in Forest Grove, Oregon, began in 1948 as a school for Oregon Trail orphans. Over time, the university has grown into a unique combination of undergraduate and graduate programs in liberal arts and sciences, education, business and health. Pacific’s focus on teaching and learning in a close nurturing environment leads to genuine transformation in students’ lives.
